Grassy Hill Scene

This is a render test of my hill scene as it currently stands. There is no lighting as of this moment. The grass was done using paint effects on a basic plane that was smoothed and then sculpted with the 'Sculpt Geometry' tool. After creating the hill mound, the geometry was made paintable to add the grass geometry. The grass itself is animated using 'turbulance' in the settings. I also have to keep the 'display' setting on the paint effects strokes very low to actually be able to work in the scene, since paint effects can definitely eat up resources in a hurry. I also altered the tree model to conform to the shape of the hill mound.

The clouds were achieved using a 3D fluidshape and tweaking the 'amplitude' and 'ratio' to get more or less the cloud coverage I'm aiming for. I animated the clouds using an expression on the 'texture origin' and playing with the speed of the clouds. The speed shown in this test render is actually a good amount faster than what it will eventually be.
